Busan is a city close
to the ocean and has been
a part of major port city
since long time ago.

부산은
바다과 가까운 도시이면서,
오래 전부터 항구 도시의 역할을
해왔습니다.

Taking significant characteristics
of Busan, we were able to get
concept of ‘Port City’

이러한 부산의 특징을 활용하여
항구 도시라는 컨셉을 지닐 수 있습니다.

Tetrapod is a rigid but
also sophisticated structure
that relives sea waves and
tsunami(tidal waves)from the sea.

테트라포드는 본래 다리가 네 개라는
뜻이며, 항만 외곽에 쌓아두어
파도로부터 항내를 보호하는 역할을 하는
네 개의 뿔 모양의 콘크리트 구조물입니다.

Unlike the wild and imposing
appearance, tetrapod provides shelter
for ocean living things.

테트라포드 브루잉 컴퍼니 또한
고객들의 거친 파도를 완화시켜줄 수 있는
거칠어 보이지만 편안한 펍 브랜드를
지향합니다.

Tetrapod brewing company
also aims to ease the harshness
of our guests daily life
like the role of tetrapod.

Looks rough and wild outside

Principle

TETRAPODis a pub brand that based in Busan, Korea.
We aim for a comfortable and casual pub
providing genuine service with a rough
and masculine image of the port city.

테트라포드는 부산을 기반으로 한 펍
브랜드입니다. 항구 도시의 거칠고
남성적인 이미지를 지닌 진정성있는
서비스로 편안하고 자유로운 분위기의
펍을 지향합니다.

we apply the design essence first

앞서 도출된 디자인 원칙을 바탕으로

Using Tetrapod’s shape of form and
the shape of form of most widely used
pint glass cup.
Embodied the shape like a toasting
with 3 glasses of beer.

테트라포드의 형태적 특징과 가장 널리
통용되는 파인트 잔의 형태적 특징을 활용하여
세 개의 잔이 건배를 하듯이 겹쳐져 테트라포드의
형태를 형상화하였습니다.

It uses the color of Tetrapod, gray color
with black & white generally and uses
the orange color which is the mainly
treated color of the ale that symbolizes
the active energy as a point color.

테트라포드의 컬러인 Gray 컬러와 함께
Black & White 를 전반적으로 사용하며,
테트라포드에서 주로 다루는
에일 맥주의 색이면서 활기찬 에너지를 상징하는
Orange 컬러를 포인트 컬러로 사용합니다.

By using the shape of the symbol of the Tetrapod,
designed the font to deliver the identity of the Tetrapod.
Also, designed to enable the stencil technique considering the context in which the font will be used.

테트라포드의 심볼이 가지고 있는 형태적 특성을
활용하여 서체를 디자인하여 테트라포드의
브랜드 아이덴티티를 전달합니다.
이 때, 서체가 사용될 환경을 고려하여 스텐실 기법이 가능하도록 제작하였습니다.

By using the shape of the symbol of the Tetrapod,
designed the icon to deliver the identity of the Tetrapod.
Also, made a line type icon considering
the context where the icon will be used.

테트라포드의 심볼이 가지고 있는 형태적 특성을
활용하여 아이콘을 디자인하여
테트라포드의 브랜드 아이덴티티를 전달합니다.
이 때, 아이콘이 사용될 환경을 고려하여
라인 타입의 아이콘을 제작하였습니다.

We designed the products
that we can make with the Dean brand.
It is a label design that can convey
information of Grauler
and beer bottle design
and information of each beer.

이렇게 만들어진 브랜드로
우리가 만들 수 있는 제품들을 디자인 하였습니다.
그라울러와 맥주병 디자인 그리고 각각의
맥주의 정보를 전달 할 수 있는 라벨디자인 입니다.

Sampler tray
We wanted to make a special sampler tray.
Because I thought this would take the
most photos to consumers,
It was because the pictures would be
able to inform the people of the Tetrapod brand.
So we made sampler trays by taking advantage
of the object characteristics
of tetrapod.

우리는 특별한 샘플러트레이를 만들고
싶었습니다. 왜냐하면 이것이 소비자들에게
가장 많은 사진을 찍을 것이라고 생각했고,
그 사진들은 테트라포드 브랜드를
많은 사람들에게 알릴 수 있을 것이기
때문이였습니다. 그래서 테트라포드의
오브젝트 특징을 살려서 샘플러트레이를
제작하였습니다.

Taking advantage of
the characteristics of tetrapods
coasters, menu plates, Growler Tag, stickers, etc.
We have designed many brandable
products that can be expanded.

그라울러택, 스티커등 확장할 수 있는 많은
브랜드제품을 디자인 했습니다.
